Flight to Tennessee:
Watch my first flight video!
so I am currently on the plane.. not going to lie I cried lol I know I know I’m a cry baby. So let me just say I wanted a window seat buuuuut I think that’s what made it worst. but did you really ride a plane if you didn’t look out at the clouds? needless to say I loved looking over at all the bodies of water and trees and cars. I didn’t like the way it felt when the plane slanted. however, I do want to say a huge thank you to my lovely sweetheart Nathaniel! he definitely helped calm my nerves. I honestly don’t think I could have done it without him. I guess when we take the flight back I won’t look out the window till we are off the ground, we’ll see how that works out. Other than that, my first plane ride was not that bad. my current happy song is playing as we speak which is “One Kiss” by Dua Lipa. I’m soooo obsessed with that song lately. You can’t tell me that song doesn’t make you want to get up and dance. oh and there is also a crying baby sitting behind us lol which I can tell is frustrating my sister-in-law. anyway, so let me touch base on the pre-flight activities. it really wasn’t that bad. check in went pretty smoothly but I can see why it would be super overwhelming because there’s lots of steps and lots of people. you really have to have some patience dude. I didn’t have to get pat down so yay but Nathaniel had to because he had a hat on lol our flight got delayed to 5:00 pm but our original time was 4:30pm so it wasn’t that bad. I got my usual iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel drizzle from Starbucks while we waited ( I know how basic white girl of me lol) well I guess I touched base on everything and I think we should be landing soon idk but here’s to our Nashville vacation! maybe now Nathaniel and I will take a plane somewhere for our honeymoon.
Flight back home:
so the flight back home was not half as bad as the flight there. I took my advice and instead of looking out the window during takeoff I waited till we were completely in the air which helped sooo much. I still felt a little uneasy and I think it’s safe to say flying is not my thing buuuut I will get on a plane again. Only if I have to though, road trips are sooooo much better anyway, I’ve always been a road trip girl. long car rides are my favorite! well that’s a wrap, stay tuned for my Nashville blog!
