A few weeks ago was the beginning of a huge battle for someone really close to me. If you know me at all, then you know that something I deeply believe in, is that you should never go through a battle alone. So naturally, I’m also going through this battle with this person. Of course, it’s not my direct battle but I’m an empath. I feel peoples pain just by talking to them. I take on their pain and try to feel what they’re feeling to better understand what kind of help they are in need of. In what way can I help? In what way can I give support? In what way can I connect with them? In what way, can I help them beat their battles?? I’ll be right there every step of the way for encouraging, supporting, and most importantly to also grow with them. I am also a huge believer of my good Lord and I know that with His strength, the victory has already been won! With God, anything is possible! Lean on Him during the heavy times, lean on Him for support, lean on Him when you need wisdom.
I heard this song right after our talk and it was the perfect song for the situation. “I’m going to see a Victory.”

I don’t want to go into details about everything, but this was huge for me. It was a weekend I’ll never forget as long as I live. It’s a weekend where a lifelong battle has begun. A battle I am extremely, over the moon proud of. I can’t even begin to explain how proud I am of this person for taking their steps into better days. A step to live a better life. A life where things start looking up and where big things happen. A life not to be ashamed of. A life that will be fulfilled. I’ve watch this person for years, time and time again, struggle and it makes me so happy to know they are trying to make a change. I can’t wait to see what God does through them! So, to this special person… if you’re reading this, just know I love you so much. You are worthy! You are supported! You have the strength to win this battle! You are loved! I believe in you.
