Proud sister of a 2020 senior | Congrats Samuel!

Hello my friends welcome back!
It’s been a while and let me just quickly say, life has been so overwhelming but we’ll talk about that later… ooh maybe a new blog.. haha
However I want to dedicate today’s blog to my not so little baby brother, Samuel.
Now that I have gathered my emotions and I’m not a blubber mess, I want to say… Congratulations Samuel! You did it!! You are seriously a rockstar. You just graduated high school this past Monday and I seriously couldn’t be more proud of you and how far you have come. I know high school isn’t always easy, but you made it! This transition into adulthood is about to be one of the hardest things ever. You will be faced with so many tough decisions along the way. Never forget, I will always be here for you though. It’s definitely an exciting time but don’t lose sight of what you really want to do and who you want to be in life. You can have your fun but remember balance is key! It has been so bittersweet to watch you grow up and it blows my mind that you are already 18.. I can’t think about it too long or I’ll cry. I remember carrying you when you were just a little baby and not wanting to ever leave your side. I remember being so annoyed of your chatter mouth and sometimes I find myself just wanting to have you talk my ear off all over again. I watched you reach milestones such as getting your license and your first job and now graduating high school. I wish you could stay forever young because it scares me to know you’ll be out in the scary world but I know it’s time for you to flap your wings and start building a life of your own. Please always be safe in everything you do but remember to always follow your dreams. Do not let anyone hold you back from pursuing what your heart desires. Even if it’s wanting to be an Aggie.. gross. haha I seriously love you so much Samuel. Keep shooting for the stars and don’t ever doubt yourself. You’re such a smart kid and I know sometimes finding motivation to keep pushing forward can be difficult. It’s not easy navigating through life but please never give up. I want to see you do bigs things because I know you can. I’m here every step of the way to help with any struggles you come across. Here’s to the next chapter of your life, make the best of it. It’s time for you to figure out what’s most important to you and build on it. Most importantly…. don’t forget your big sister! haha I would say I’m only one call away but I don’t even have to remind you of that because you call me every chance you get. If you ever find someone that doesn’t want you to call me every week, RUN! They aren’t the one for you. To bring this to an end, I am so proud of you Samuel. Thank you for being there for me, and know I’ll always do the same.
